What the Muse Image Preview Includes
See what the free Muse Image workspace actually does: original prompts, style and crop controls, curated sample previews, and temporary page history.
The Muse Image workspace is a free tool for preparing an image brief and viewing sample references. It does not generate new images or call Meta’s Muse Image model. The public site now pairs that workspace with an original prompt library and source-linked model and API guides.
This product note has been updated to describe the current site. Earlier plans for accounts, credits, and paid generation are not active features of this public preview.
What you can use today
The prompt studio lets you write a prompt, append a style direction, choose a square, landscape, or portrait preview crop, and select a sample-batch size. You can reuse a previous brief or copy the final prompt with its selected style wording.
The page keeps up to eight preview batches while it remains open. This is temporary browser memory, not a saved account library. The site does not persist that history to storage or an account; refreshing resets it. The copy action is the way to keep a useful prompt for another tool or a later session.
The prompt library contains original examples for products, portraits, interiors, editorial scenes, posters, and campaigns. “Use in preview” brings the selected prompt, crop, and style into the workspace. The examples are creative starting points, not claims that a particular model produced a tested result from them.
What the images and sequence mean
The preview uses curated sample photos. Its progress sequence is a demonstration of a workspace interaction; it does not represent a GPU job, a moderation check, or a provider queue. Selecting a different prompt does not prove that a model understood it.
Sample images can help a team discuss lighting, subject placement, and visual mood. They should not be used to benchmark image quality or advertised as outputs generated by Meta. No exclusive image rights or new commercial-use license are granted by this preview.
What is not enabled
The current deployment does not enable accounts, checkout, credit purchases, or live model generation. It does not ask for a Meta API key. The availability page separates the free workspace from external services that charge for image generation.
When you need a newly generated image, use an authorized account with a provider that supports the task. The Meta Muse Image overview points to official product information, and the API tutorial explains Meta’s documented endpoints.
How this site relates to Meta and OmniAKey
museimages.app is an independent resource, not a Meta website or an endorsed integration. The guide content names Meta’s model because readers are researching it; the preview itself remains a separate sample tool.
This site also promotes OmniAKey’s image-model catalog. Those outbound links contain campaign parameters identifying this site and where the link appeared. They do not carry the prompt typed into the workspace. Check OmniAKey’s current listings rather than assuming that a guide about one model establishes its availability there.

Does the preview call a live image model?
No. It selects curated local sample photos and simulates a preview sequence. No Meta or other image-provider request is made.

Will my history survive a refresh?
No. Up to eight batches are stored in the current page’s memory. Refreshing the page resets that state, so copy any useful prompt before leaving.
